Cosmic Commander is a browser based robot strategy game. No installation is required to play. Command an army of robots and team up with your friends to take on the legions of Chaos!
Various Tournaments take place every day in the Arena.
There's a chance you can obtain rare Cores or materials as prizes for winning.
Here's an explanation about Arenas.
The Arena is the place where all the Commanders can make the Squads under their command fight each other and test their skills as Commanders.
You will always find various Tournaments taking place in the Arena, but there are several conditions you need to meet to enter them.
If you manage to pass the qualifying fights and finish among the first ones during the real battle, you will reach the final tournament. The players participating in the final tournament can win awesome prizes.

Participate in Arenas
You can enter the Arena by selecting one of the Tournaments listed on the left side of the Arena screen and by clicking the "Register Squad" button on the right.
The Squad you entered will automatically fight until the final tournament starts. The goal here is to pass the qualification rounds.
You can freely cancel your registration and enter again until the final tournament begins. But if you cancel your registration, all the results of the qualification rounds done so far will be reset.
The Squads that passed the qualifications and made it to the final tournament cannot return to the base until the final tournament is over.
About "Ratings"
All players are given a "rating".
A player's rating will fluctuate according to their number of victories and defeats in the Arena.
Also, there are organized Tournaments with rating limits in order for all players to have a fair chance of winning a tournament.
About number of consecutive wins and win rate
When you register to compete with players that are entered in the Arena in "Entry battles", the number of battles you win will be added to your "number of consecutive wins".
When your number of entries in the Arena exceeds a certain number, the players that achieved a high number of consecutive wins and high winning rate will be displayed in "Leading Commander" ranking.
However, if the necessary number of battles to pass the qualification rounds has not been reached, it will not influence the ranking.
Furthermore, there are Tournaments during which you can receive presents according to whether or not you meet the minimum number of consecutive victories condition, regardless of its order.
